About Me
Hello! I'm Nathaniel.
I'm so excited that you've taken the time to check out my work! While I love taking landscape or animal pictures, portraits are my favorite type of photography. Portraits allow me to capture the emotions of others and give people something they can keep forever.
Along with photography, I love to explore, go for long hikes in nature, play with my two ferrets, spend time with the people I love, and work on enjoying the little things in everyday moments.
Most recently, I worked as an intern for ViA Verde Farm in Penna in Teverina, Umbria, Italy. There we planned The Common Ground Festival! I've also had a blast at St. Peter's Bakery, Trader Joe's, Thai Place Restaurant, Johnsonburg Camp & Retreat Center, and working as an EMT.
I can't wait to capture some of your special moments!

2000-2017
All throughout my life, I've been interested in taking pictures.
I remember being four or five and being fascinated with a 35mm film camera with sheep decorations.
Growing up, I played around with any camera I could get my hands on. This mostly consisted of family Panasonic point-and-shoot cameras.

2018-2021
In 2018, I bought my first DSLR, the Nikon D3400. I loved my Nikon camera and took it with me everywhere.
I used that camera for everything from family gatherings to working as the photographer at a summer camp in 2021.
Using a beginner DSLR for a few years taught me so much about how to find the right setting to match the way I wanted the image to look.

2022
At the beginning of 2022, after almost a year of research, I finally bought my next camera; the Sony a7 III.
Buying this camera was a huge step for me and the future of my work as a photographer. Not only is the a7 III a much more professional camera, it is also a mirrorless instead of a DSLR.
Since buying the camera, I've been working on building up my portfolio and finding my portrait style.
